This work, commissioned for Konsthall 1.0 (en experimental space for art commissions), consists of an evening stroll in central Jönköping with starting point at the Elite hotel lobby.

The main medium is pre-recorded audio instructions and voices that will accompany the visitor in an exposé of the city through the ideas, fears and expectations we have of it.

There is an accompanied installation shown at “Brovaktstugan” where a film was created to be experienced with this audio track.

The work takes the visitor on a walk, through physical and virtual places. An hour may have passed, maybe two. An autumn. A winter. A single visitor sitting in the hotel lobby and awaiting instructions. In a guest room, in someone’s dream, inside the image; a woman standing against a black fountain, the leaves have already been picked up from the frozen ground and the trees around her are grey and bare, the visitor has already left the hotel and walked towards a nearby park, divided into two, both as actor and spectator.
