Memories of a Building2016
The Memories of a Building complements the New Originals exhibition. Similar to Lundahl & Seitl’s Symphony of a Missing Room, the two projects can travel to different institutions and contexts over an extended period of several years. The Memories of a Building accumulates knowledge over time, with different research fields connected to it, from art to science (anthropology, neurology, biology, psychology etc.) as well as different transdisciplinary researchers. This means it has the potential to become an archive of the complexity of human image interpretation, and the tight connection between memory and imagination in our ways of communicating how we experience art.
